Carbon Business Roundtables - prominent climate change professionals and also young future leaders invited

Carbon Business Roundtables have emerged as a programme, since not all of companies were aware of the fact, that a carbon constraint world offers solutions and benefits not only suffers from environmental damages and slow sometimes rigid regulation, but great revenues for early movers. The Roundtable is offering the opportunity for young leaders to meet senior colleagues from different positions, and organisations, and can broadcast their goals to the older generation, and create the bases for a new, sustainable financed society. Everyone is invited who want to solve questions on climate change, and speakers mainly those, who have achieved already an outstanding work in climate change. The first roundtable event was organised at the Hungarian Carbon Market Conference, in Gödöllő, having a huge success in 5 different areas: climate offices in network, climate finance and crediting, climate policies, bioenergy and carbon footprinting.

Our main partner was the OBEKK Plc., (Hungarian Bioenergy Competence Center), which aims to scale up the role of agriculture, bioenergy and other related areas to be a cost-effective option for national domestic offsetting under any possible cap and trade or market mechanism.
